NZ ITF Taekwon-Do Membership Agreement 2026

Training Centre: NZ ITF Taekwon-Do 115 King Street South, Hastings

Members must treat instructors, staff, volunteers, students, and visitors with respect at all times. Instructions must be followed promptly during training.

Discipline is fundamental to Taekwon-Do. Disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

Members must wear the official NZ ITF Taekwon-Do uniform during classes unless otherwise approved. Uniforms must be clean, tidy, and worn correctly.

Members are expected to arrive on time and attend classes regularly. Where possible, instructors should be notified in advance if a class will be missed.

All members must follow safety instructions at all times. Any injury, unsafe behaviour, or damaged equipment must be reported immediately.

Good personal hygiene is required. Fingernails and toenails must be kept short for safety. Members should not attend training if unwell or injured without instructor approval.

All communication must be respectful. Concerns or grievances must be raised privately through official NZ ITF channels and not through public discussion or social media.

Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited and must be reported immediately.

NZ ITF Taekwon-Do is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all members and providing a safe, inclusive, and protective training environment. This is especially important for children, vulnerable persons, and inclusive programmes. All safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously and managed in line with NZ ITF safeguarding and child-protection policies.

As part of the safeguarding and registration process, members may be required to provide accurate personal information, including full legal name, current residential address, and emergency contact details.

NZ ITF Taekwon-Do reserves the right to request proof of identity and/or address at any time as part of membership verification, safeguarding, or organisational requirements. Acceptable identification may include government-issued photo ID or official documents confirming address.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration may result in delayed approval, suspension, or termination of membership.

Training equipment and facilities must be treated with care. Deliberate damage or misuse may result in disciplinary action or costs being charged.

Members must display good sportsmanship at all times and represent NZ ITF Taekwon-Do positively in public, at events, and online.

Drugs, alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises. Members must attend training sober and fit to train.

Photos or videos may only be taken with instructor approval. Members must not post misleading, harmful, or unauthorised content involving NZ ITF Taekwon-Do, its members, or its activities.

Membership fees are paid via automatic payment to allow the centre to meet ongoing operating costs including rent, utilities, insurance, equipment, and staffing.

All fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, holidays, injury, personal circumstances, or withdrawal from training, unless required by law.

Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension of training. Unpaid fees may be referred to debt collection, with all recovery costs payable by the member.

Members acknowledge that Taekwon-Do involves physical activity and inherent risk. Any medical conditions or injuries must be disclosed to instructors prior to training.

NZ ITF Taekwon-Do reserves the right to accept, suspend, or terminate membership at its discretion based on safety, conduct, safeguarding requirements, and alignment with organisational values.

Visitors and caregivers may observe classes with prior approval and must comply with NZ ITF conduct and safeguarding expectations.

By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the non binding NZ ITF Taekwon-Do Membership Agreement 2026. I confirm that the information provided in my application is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge.
