WHAT: An Idea Dinner with a twist. Exchange and workshop ideas with the smartest, most curious investors, allocators and investment professionals from all different asset classes.
WHY: Smart-Beta means knowing everything and everyone you're supposed to know. If you want alpha, though, you have to mix it up a bit. While I can't guarantee alpha, I can increase the odds. Plus, what's better than meeting smart new people and learning smart new things?
HOW: Idea Generator events are orchestrated to inject serendipity into your mix, feed your curiosity, and drive you out of your swim lane. This is cross-pollination, not 'just another networking event or dinner party.' Members come prepared to teach and learn, and that is what we do. The format leaves no room for wind-bagging or wall-flowering (really).
WHO: Terminally curious investors with a predilection towards seeing things differently. High openness and low social-desirability bias. "N of 1" strategies, and the allocators who love them. Polymaths, infovores, and learners-for-the-love-of-the-game also welcome.
