Getting started with your claim

Here are a few useful tips to consider when making a claim:

1. Pay your invoice as soon as possible

Your expat health policy works by paying your treating Doctor upfront and then submitting claims through us for reimbursement. Please pay your invoices as soon as possible to avoid late fees with your Doctor.

2. How long does it take?

Depending on the amount and complexity of your claim, it normally takes 2 - 4 weeks, but it can take up to 6 weeks to process the claim. If approved, you’ll receive the money in your bank account within business 7 days after confirmation.

3. Reimbursement amount

Keep in mind you do not have any co-pays or a deductible with your policy. You will be reimbursed according to terms of your Expat health insurance plan. Remember that health conditions that started before the policy began are typically not covered.
