I'm Paul Millerd, questioner of all default options not by choice but likely genetic wiring.
I've been sitting with the question "How the hell do you raise a child in the year of our lord 2024 if you don't live in default path world?"
I wish I could say I have good answers but I don't.
I figured it would be worthwhile to convene a pop-up research group to share ideas and information. I've realized people shy away from sharing things about parenting and unconventional paths because it can attract unnecessary judgment.
Format: Will likely be a series of sessions with people or groups that are doing stuff in this space as well as some discussion groups
Output: A report of some kind that can serve as a resource for parents
Help?: As a parent of a 14-month-old, I would also love to request some of the non-parents who are interested to helping out to let me know what they can offer.
This is an emergent experiment and I will help take the lead in organizing some events and discussions but would appreciate any and all help.
