[WAITLIST] Attend Your First Story Supper 🥳
Welcome writer friends! 👋
This waitlist allows you to express interest in upcoming Story Suppers. If a Story Supper is coming to a city near you, we will reach out to you so you can RSVP and reserve your spot before spaces run out :).
Story Suppers are informal gatherings of writers in cities across the world 🌍. It's a supper club for writers!
Maggie Beeler and I (Michael Evans) started Story Suppers as a fun and useful way to bring writers together.
We both travel to lots of conferences and cities (I think I've been to 20+ major cities in 2024).
We want a better way to make new writer friends and catch-up with old friends in the cities we visit.
Here's a picture of me and Maggie.
We are friendly people (and a rare breed of extroverted writers... but Story Suppers are supposed to be warm and cozy for all of our introvert friends too!).
Each Story Supper follows a similar format, but with different topics for the Writer's Seat and new amazing writers to meet!
But what's our special sauce, you ask? What makes a Story Supper... a Story Supper?
First, we cap the number of attendees for each Story Supper to keep things small and intimate.
The Hors d'oeuvres: We all meet each other over the 10 Questions to Befriend a Fellow Storyteller (or we can casually chat, it's up to you!).
The Entrée: The second half of a Story Supper, we turn from small conversations into a group mastermind. One writer takes the "Writer's Seat" and as a group we do everything we can to help them!
Suppers are all about learning with each other and making new writer friends in your city!
This form takes less than <1 minute to fill out and we will be using this form to contact people when there is a Story Supper in or near your city. All seats at Story Suppers are RSVP on a first-come first-serve basis so this list is the place to be to attend future suppers.
*Note you will receive all communication related to Story Suppers here.
What major city do you live closest to?
*
Note: We define a major city as one with a metropolitan area with a population of over 1 million people. However, your closest city to get to a Story Supper is a good proxy!
