AVAC Autism Carer Support Group - Sunday May 25th RSVP

Our Autistic Carer Support Group is for Carers of autistic people to meet, connect, learn and find mutual support with others. The group is open to all Carers of Autistic people living in the Alpine Shire and surrounds, including caring for those who they suspect may be autistic or are self-identified.

This month, Sandhya Menon will be visiting us in person as she explains how Autistic people uniquely experience emotions and why traditional regulation approaches can fall short.

Drawing from professional and lived experience, she'll share practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies for Carers to better support the emotional needs of Autistic people in their lives.
