Why we collect your student number
We ask for your student number for two reasons:
1. To verify that you are a current student at the University of Roehampton.
2. To contact you if you win a prize in our competition.
3. To carry out demographic analysis of the survey results (for example, to understand whether different groups of students have different experiences).
Your student number will not be used to identify you in any reported findings. All analysis and reporting will be anonymised, and we will not present data in a way that could make you identifiable.
Sharing your data
The data you provide will not be shared with any third parties outside of the Students' Union.
Free text questions
This survey contains some open-ended questions. Please do not include information that could identify you in your answers (such as names or email addresses). Your free text comments may be shared within the University and in reports about the survey results.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing this survey data is consent. Your participation is entirely voluntary. You can read our privacy notice for consultations and surveys on our website.
