Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Sales Leader role based in New York, NY. The role focuses on driving branded, licensed brand, and private label opportunities within men’s and women’s sleepwear, loungewear, robes, and related soft apparel categories.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in both men’s and ladies’ sleep, lounge, and robe categories, with strong relationships across better department stores and mid-tier department stores. This role requires a commercially driven sales leader who understands product, brand positioning, retail pricing, margin structure, and seasonal assortment strategy.
• 7+ years of sales experience in sleepwear, loungewear, robes, soft apparel, intimate apparel, or related categories
• Strong expertise in both men’s and women’s sleep, lounge, and robe businesses
• Established relationships with better department stores and mid-tier department stores
• Experience developing branded, licensed brand, and private label programs
• Strong understanding of department store retail dynamics, including pricing, margin, assortment planning, and seasonal selling calendars
• Proven ability to manage key accounts, develop new business, and drive sales growth
• Ability to connect product, brand positioning, pricing, and customer demand to close opportunities
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
