Get your plan

The skill isn't the problem. Choosing is.

There are no wrong answers here. Answer like you're talking to a friend. About 5 minutes.

1. What do people always come to YOU for help with?

Think about the thing people ask you for, even when you didn't offer.

2. What could you talk about for a whole hour and never get bored?

It doesn't have to sound "impressive." Just something that lights you up.

3. What's something people have told you you're good at more than once?

A compliment you've heard from more than one person, even a small one.

4. Do you like BUILDING something new, or looking at something and saying "here's how to make it better"?

Pick whichever one feels more true. Neither answer is better than the other.

5. Is there something you've always wanted to offer people, but never started?

The idea you keep thinking about but haven't done anything with yet.

6. How many hours a week could you REALLY give this?

Helper: Be honest, not aspirational. The plan is built around this number.

D

7. Picture yourself doing this. Are you working with people one at a time, in a small group, or making one thing that lots of people can use on their own?

Helper: Go with your gut. You can change your mind later.

Other:

8. Jump ahead 90 days. What would make you say "yes, this is actually working"?

Doesn't have to be a number. Just what it would feel or look like.

9. What do you watch, listen to, or read the most?

YouTube channels, social accounts, podcasts, books you keep going back to.

10. What have you been curious about lately?

Doesn't have to be work-related.

11. What does your ideal day look like?

Out and about, or fine at a desk? Mornings or nights? However you picture a genuinely good day.

Where should I send your plan?

Helper: One email with your plan. Nothing else unless you ask.
