While Democracy Week will be held at the nine FORTHEM universities, students and Academics of FORTHEM can receive the FORTHEM stipend to attend the European Conference in 1-5 May, in Agder, Norway.
Students:
All student from FORTHEM universities can apply to
-Physically
attend the
European Conference in
Norway, with FORTHEM travel stipend.
-
Propose activities on your campus, or register as a volunteer.
The Democracy Week team will support implement your ideas.
Academics:
-
Propose activities on-campus in the period March-June 2026.
-Propose
online sessions during March-June 2026.
-Travel to Agder and
contribute to the
program 1-5 of May.
-Attend the Kristiansand European Conference on Democracy and Human Rights 2026.
General info:
The FORTHEM stipend will contribute to covering the expenses related to participation in Kristiansand, Norway.
For inquiries about travel funding,
contact the FORTHEM office at your university.
-Applicants who apply to travel to Agder, Norway will be selected based on their motivational letter.
-Applicants who deliver activities on their campus during the period (March-June) will be prioritized for receiving the travel stipend to Agder.
