The workshop is organised by De Metaforij, a new non-profit organisation led by experienced educators. We will be meeting on Saturday afternoons in a small group, starting on April 25th, and finishing with a performance in October 2026. The meetings will take place in ‘De Felix’ in Gentbrugge, with an additional long weekend spent together in the countryside in early September.

We will gather for recurring creative sessions and invite you to:

* explore how embodied work can contribute to creating a sense of safety and belonging;

* explore different forms of expression connected to creative movement, theater and voice;

* ask yourself what makes Gent your (new) home, or what doesn't;

* share cultural practices that you took with you from your previous home, or let go of the ones you want to leave behind.

No previous stage experience needed!
