Codera is an AI-powered platform that generates React Native mobile applications based on user descriptions. The generated applications run within the Codera app environment and may access device features such as camera, sensors, and storage.
## 3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
**IMPORTANT:** All applications generated by Codera are created using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality and functionality:
- Generated apps may contain errors, bugs, or unexpected behavior
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of generated apps
- Generated code may not meet professional development standards
- Apps may fail to function as described or expected
## 4. User Responsibilities
You agree that you are solely responsible for:
- All content you input into Codera (descriptions, prompts, data)
- How you use generated applications
- Any consequences arising from generated app functionality
- Compliance with all applicable laws when using generated apps
- Any data you collect, store, or process using generated apps
- Ensuring generated apps comply with applicable regulations before distribution or commercial use
## 5. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use Codera to:
- Generate apps that violate any laws or regulations
- Create apps designed to harm, harass, or defraud others
- Generate malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Create apps involving illegal content, including content related to minors
- Generate apps that violate privacy laws or collect data unlawfully
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Codera source code
- Abuse or overload our AI generation systems
- Generate apps for resale without proper licensing
## 6. Intellectual Property
### 6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the descriptions and inputs you provide to Codera.
### 6.2 Generated Apps
Generated applications and their code are provided to you under a limited license. You may:
- Use generated apps for personal or commercial purposes
- Modify generated code as needed
- Deploy generated apps subject to these Terms
### 6.3 Codera Platform
The Codera app, platform, interface, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of Codera and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
## 7. Subscription and Payment Terms
### 7.1 Free Tier
Free tier users receive a limited number of app generations per month. We reserve the right to modify free tier limitations at any time.
### 7.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscription terms, including pricing and features, are subject to change with notice. Subscriptions are billed according to the selected plan and renew automatically unless cancelled.
### 7.3 Refunds
Refunds are provided at our sole discretion. We generally do not provide refunds for AI generations that did not meet expectations.
## 8. Limitation of Liability
**TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:**
- CODERA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (OR $100 USD IF GREATER)
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY GENERATED APPS, INCLUDING MALFUNCTIONS, DATA LOSS, SECURITY BREACHES, OR ANY OTHER ISSUES
## 9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Codera, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of Codera
- Generated apps you create or deploy
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of third parties
- Any content you provide to Codera
## 10. Third-Party Services
Codera uses third-party services including Claude AI by Anthropic. Your use of generated apps may also interact with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their terms, or their functionality.
## 11. Data and Privacy
Your use of Codera is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Codera, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
## 12. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue Codera at any time
- Change features, functionality, or limitations
- Update these Terms with notice
- Refuse service to anyone for any reason
## 13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Codera immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse of the service
- Any reason at our sole discretion
Upon termination, your right to use Codera ceases immediately.
## 14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us to attempt informal resolution.
### 14.2 Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Codera shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
### 14.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
