Engineering Philosophy

We know you're busy, and we respect that. Instead of a generic screening call, we’ve included a few short questions about your engineering philosophy. We’d love to hear about the 'how' and 'why' behind your work, as this helps us understand if our technical culture is a great match for you.

Why are you interested in this role?

Describe a time you used RxJS (or similar) to solve a complex UI problem. What was the challenge, and how did a reactive approach make the solution better?

Which of our "Four Pillars" (Stewardship, Craftsperson, Force Multiplier, or Business Partner) resonates most with your professional style, and why?

We’re big fans of SOLID principles at MYT. Could you share an example of a time where you had to balance clean, modular code with being pragmatic? How did you approach that?

We maintain a robust suite of Unit, Integration, and E2E tests. What is your philosophy on testing. How do you decide what to test to ensure long-term maintainability?
