🎪 KIND Family Gathering IV Application

We're so happy you're here!

KIND Family Gathering is returning for its fourth year, and this time, we're opening the village gates a little wider.

Same mountains. Same magic. Same intention.

Just more space for more families to experience it ✨

This year we're offering two festival cycles, back-to-back.

Cycle I: 25th – 29th July 2026

Cycle II: 1st – 5th August 2026

You can join for one, or you can join for both!

Each cycle is whole and complete - the full KIND experience with the same rhythm, depth, and care.

We're keeping each cycle intimate, so the gathering stays spacious, connected, and held.

Staying for both cycles? From 30th – 31st July, you'll remain on-site while our team resets. No programming, no schedule, just quiet days in the mountains for your family to rest and integrate before Cycle II begins. Food and facilities will still be available.

Why an application?

To keep the gathering intimate and meaningful, we ask all families to complete an application.

It helps us get to know your family, support a balanced group, and create a space where people can arrive feeling welcome and at ease.

There is also an optional short video. It’s not required, but if you feel like sending one, it can help us get a little sense of your family beyond the written form. Nothing polished or fancy, simple and real is perfect.

It takes about 10 minutes, and you can save and return to it if needed.

🇵🇹 As with previous gatherings, we whole-heartedly welcome Portuguese families. Whilst most of the sessions will be in English the community will fill in any language gaps where our facilitators cannot.
If you feel more comfortable completing this application in Portuguese you are welcome to. 🇵🇹

Prices

Includes your camping spot and all workshops and classes.
Note: food is not included this year. Read more about this in the application.
Single Cycle (price per cycle)

Important Things to Know:

About the process:
- Applications are reviewed in the order they're received
- Your application doesn't guarantee a spot - we'll be in touch within 2 weeks
- Once accepted, you have 72 hours to pay and secure your place
About tickets:
- Tickets are for the full cycle only (no day passes) - We are only accepting full attendance to the festival to co-create the communal spirit.
- Tickets are non-refundable
- If you can no longer attend, we can offer your tickets to approved families on the waitlist - but we can't guarantee an exchange. Please book responsibly.
About connected families:
- If you're coming with other families, each family must submit their own application
- Use a shared "Clan Name" (like "Blue Whales") so we can connect your applications
- We'll do our best to approve connected families together
- Applications are still open, we will close once we are full. We will review applications in order they are received.
- If there are multiple families in your party, each must fill in an application with a "Clan Name" such as "Blue Whales" to connect your applications. We will try to approve as many connected families as possible.
About Location: - We're back in the Magic Mountains, North Portugal.
- Whilst very remote, it takes just over 1 hour to drive from Porto, 3 hours from Lisboa or 4 hours from Madrid, Spain. Find the address location here.

KIND Gems Work 4-hour daily shifts during the festival in exchange for free entry.

KIND Guardians Support build, pause, and break phases across both cycles - no work during festival days - in exchange for free entry. One free child ticket included.

Crew Builders Help with build and pause phases (join for Cycle I) or pause and break phases (join for Cycle II) - no work during festival days - in exchange for 50% off your ticket. One free child ticket included.

Wanting to hold space or facilitate?

We love that so many of you want to offer your gifts to the village.

This year we're not opening space holders applications.

As our schedule comes together, we might be announcing some specific facilitation and performance opportunities. Follow us on Instagram to be the first to know.

A Note for Solo Parents 💛

Whether you're a solo parent or a small family unit, we really encourage you to think about bringing someone along - a friend, a family member, or a supportive caregiver.

Not because you have to. But because you deserve to actually be there. Not just managing everything. But resting. Joining a circle that's only for you. Having a moment to yourself.

And honestly? It's a gift for that person too - a chance to have their own special time and memories with your little ones.

Win-win.
