Stories Born in the Dark

Are you 18 years of age or older?

This story is my original submission and has not been previously published.

I used artificial intelligence as part of the creative process for this story.

I understand that The Artificial Muse is seeking substantial human creative involvement and is not intended for untouched or minimally edited one-click AI output.

To the best of my knowledge, this submission does not plagiarize an existing work or deliberately imitate another writer's work in a way that infringes upon their rights.

My submission does not contain child abuse, animal abuse, racist material, or material promoting hatred toward protected groups.

I understand that dark, disturbing, violent, frightening, and mature material may otherwise be considered within the anthology's guidelines.

I understand that the $20 submission fee pays for consideration of my story and does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

I understand that submission fees are nonrefundable if my story is rejected, withdrawn, or found ineligible under the published guidelines.

I understand that if The Artificial Muse is ultimately canceled because the minimum of 25 eligible paid submissions is not reached, my submission fee will be refunded.

I understand that there are no additional publication fees if my story is accepted.

I understand that, if accepted, I will receive a contributor agreement outlining the publication rights and terms before my story is published.

I understand that accepted contributors will receive a complimentary digital contributor copy of the finished anthology in both EPUB and PDF formats.

I have read and agree to the submission guidelines for The Artificial Muse: Stories Born in the Dark.
