Junior Treasury Officer

Role purpose
As a Junior Treasury Officer, you are responsible for supporting the Finance team in handling daily cash, bank, and payment activities with accuracy, responsibility, and trust. You will assist in receiving, checking, recording, and processing financial transactions while following company procedures and approval requirements. This role requires a high level of honesty, confidentiality, and discipline when handling company funds and financial information.
Role accountabilities
● Support the Senior Treasury Officer in daily cash, bank, and payment activities.
● Assist in preparing and checking payment documents and supporting records.
● Update cash, bank, and treasury trackers accurately.
● Assist with cash counting, bank checking, and basic reconciliations.
● Organize and maintain treasury documents and transaction records.
● Follow instructions, Treasury SOPs, and approval procedures.
Job Requirements
● University student, fresh graduate, or diploma holder.
● Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
● Basic numerical and calculation skills.
● Previous finance or treasury experience is not required.
● High level of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
● Careful and accurate when handling money and financial information.
● Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow procedures.
● Willing to learn and accept feedback.
● Good communication and teamwork skills.
● Able to maintain confidentiality.
