Uganda 2028 Registration

Welcome to the registration page for our 2028 Uganda Origin Adventure with Moka Origins. Over 14 days we harvest cacao and coffee alongside our partners at Latitude Trade Company and Bukonzo Joint Cooperative, track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, go on safari across Queen Elizabeth National Park, trek to mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and take a morning walking safari at Lake Mburo. We close in Kampala at Latitude Craft Chocolate.

Register yourself and your travel companions using the form below. Once we receive your registration, we’ll email you an invoice along with our Tour Participant Agreement for each adult traveler to sign electronically.

Submitting this form does not secure your spot. Your spot is confirmed once your deposit is received and your agreement is signed.

Tour Dates

February 21 - March 5, 2028. 14 days, 13 nights.

Tour Rates

Adult rate (17 and older): $6,600 per person, based on shared accommodation. Includes your gorilla trekking permit ($1,000) and chimpanzee tracking permit ($300).

Child rate (ages 12-16): $5,600. Includes chimpanzee tracking. Excludes gorilla trekking.

Child rate (ages 0-11): $5,300. Excludes gorilla trekking and chimpanzee tracking.

Age is based on the traveler’s age on February 21, 2028.

On trek days that children can’t join, a Moka staff member stays with them so parents can go.

Important: Airfare is excluded from the prices above

Deposit Amount: A $1,000 deposit secures your spot on the trip.

Balance payment: Due on or before August 1st, 2027 Please email any medical conditions, medications, allergies, and dietary restrictions to chelsea@mokaorigins.com when you register. Let her know as well if you’d prefer not to appear in photos.

Gorilla and Chimpanzee Permits

We purchase permits from the Uganda Wildlife Authority on August 1, 2027, in each traveler’s name. We’ll need full passport details for every traveler by then, or at registration if you register later.

Once purchased, permits cannot be refunded or transferred. Registrations after August 1, 2027 are subject to permit availability. If we can’t secure a permit for you, we’ll tell you before you pay.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to chelsea@mokaorigins.com. Your cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice. Please allow 30 days for refunds to be processed.

Cancel on or before July 31, 2027: Full refund less a $300 administrative fee per person.

Cancel August 1 through August 31, 2027: Your $1,000 deposit is non-refundable. Permits are purchased in your name on August 1. All other payments are refunded.

Cancel September 1, 2027 through January 20, 2028: Moka Origins retains 50% of the tour rate: $3,300 per adult, $2,800 per child ages 12-16, and $2,650 per child ages 0-11.

Cancel on or after January 21, 2028: No refund. 100% of the tour price is non-refundable.

If you register on or after August 1, 2027, full payment is due at registration. If you register on or after January 21, 2028, that payment is non-refundable from the moment it is made.

Tour Participant Agreement

Once you complete this registration form, we’ll email you our Tour Participant Agreement as a PDF to read and sign electronically. Every traveler 18 or older signs their own copy, and a parent or legal guardian signs on behalf of any traveler under 18.

Signing takes about two minutes and doesn’t require an account. Your spot is confirmed once your agreement is signed and your deposit is received.

The Agreement covers assumption of risk, release of liability, and our cancellation terms. Email chelsea@mokaorigins.com if you’d like to review a copy before registering.

How payment works

Once we receive your registration, Mark Larson will email you an invoice along with your Tour Participant Agreement to sign.

To pay by credit card: call Mark Larson at (570) 979-1010, Monday through Friday. A 3% processing fee applies.

To pay by check: mail $1,000 per traveler, payable to Moka Origins, to 952 Bethany Turnpike, Honesdale, PA 18431. No fee.
