Big Idea Stage is a fun, informal TEDxRegina pop-up event designed to bring our community together and celebrate bold, creative Ideas Worth Spreading.
We’re inviting YOU to share your big idea in just three minutes — it can be inspiring, thought-provoking, funny, or completely unexpected and must fit into our 2027 theme "Festival of Ideas" The top 10 submissions will be selected to present live at our Big Idea Friday pop-up event, and the winner will have the opportunity to speak on stage at TEDxRegina 2027.
This event is casual and full of energy. Come to connect, be inspired, and celebrate the creativity in our community. Applications close November 15!
ELIGIBILITY
*Open to all residents of Regina
*Must be 18 years or older to be selected
*No prior speaking experience required - just your idea and enthusiasm
* Finalists must be available to attend the Big Idea Friday event in person on November 27.
In 2027, TEDxRegina marks 15 years since the first TEDx event in Regina, celebrating the people, stories, and ideas that have shaped our community and city.
Festival of Ideas honours that history while bringing fresh energy to what comes next. Drawing on our city’s creativity and the renewed spirit of TEDxRegina, it invites us to explore the ideas shaping how we live, work, build, care, and connect.
This is a celebration of curiosity, bold thinking, unexpected discoveries, and the conversations that bring us together. A reminder that powerful ideas can come from anywhere, including right here in our community and that our voices belong..
