This application will help me understand your playing, your goals and whether I believe the programme is the right fit for you. It should take around 10 minutes to complete.

There are no perfect answers, and you do not need to present yourself as an advanced musician. Please simply tell me as much as you can about where you are now and what you would like help with.

I review every application personally. If I believe I may be able to help, I’ll invite you to a short Zoom conversation so that we can learn more about one another and decide together whether the programme is the right fit.

Section 4: Practice and participation

How much time can you realistically make available for practice each week?

There is no correct answer or minimum requirement. The purpose of this question is to help me understand what kind of plan would be realistic for you.

Are you able to engage regularly with the programme between coaching sessions?

I understand that the coaching will be most effective if I spend some regular time practicing, reflecting on the sessions and putting the ideas into use between calls.

Are you able to attend coaching sessions online using Zoom?

Investment

The first intake of Sound Kitchen Coaching is being offered at a special founding rate of $1,500 USD or £1100 GBP.

Payment plans are available.

This reduced rate apples only to the founding intake. Future intakes will be offered at a higher price.

This is not an audition, and there is no need to prepare or record anything specially. A short example of your improvising can help me understand where you are at. You can include an unlisted YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar link if you wish.
