What You’ll Build:
Real-Time Core Infrastructure:
Distributed Microservices: Design and build fault-tolerant services powering our WebRTC SFU, TURN/STUN servers, and real-time analytics pipelines.
Low-Latency APIs: Develop ultra-fast RESTful and WebSocket APIs handling millions of requests per second with sub-millisecond latency.
Event-Driven Systems: Architect and maintain pub/sub architectures, signaling servers, and event orchestration pipelines for high-throughput data flow.
End-to-End System Ownership:
Backend Services: Write efficient, concurrent code using NodeJS, Golang, and Python, optimized for high throughput and low latency
Data Layer: Design scalable, multi-region storage solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis with optimized indexing and sharding strategies
Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage cloud-native services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring high availability and cost efficiency
DevOps & SRE: Automate and manage CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks, and production-grade infrastructure for real-time workloads
Monitoring & Observability: Implement full-stack monitoring, logging, and tracing using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry, with strong alignment to OTLP (OpenTelemetry Protocol) standards for interoperability across systems
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years building and deploying production-ready backend systems at scale
API Expertise: Solid experience designing and maintaining RESTful and WebSocket APIs
Systems Knowledge: Strong grasp of networking fundamentals – OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/2, and WebRTC signaling
Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS, along with Docker and Kubernetes
Linux Proficiency: Comfortable working in Unix-based systems and using tools like curl, htop, strace, tcpdump
Version Control & Automation: Proficient with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
