A Note on our Ethos
The Riser Den is a safe space for musicians and audience alike. We kindly ask that you keep performances free from profanity, offensive content, or divisive political/theological debates. We want to keep the space open, welcoming and positive for everyone. Thank You.
Tell us a little about your experience. This simply helps us create balanced sessions and support musicians of all backgrounds. There are no right or wrong answers.
The Riser Den exists to encourage creativity, collaboration and community. While we aim to accommodate everyone who signs up, submission of this form does not guarantee a performance slot. Programming decisions remain at the discretion of The Riser Den team to ensure a safe, balanced and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Performance Confirmation
To help the sessions run smoothly, performance slots are confirmed by text message or phone call throughout the festival. Please keep your phone with you and switched on after signing up so we can contact you if a slot becomes available. If you haven't heard from us, you're welcome to visit the Jam Space Registration Desk 30 minutes before the start of the session to check whether a place has become available.
By submitting this form, I confirm that:
• I understand and agree that The Riser Den may photograph, film and audio record my participation during the event.
• I grant The Riser Den, its organisers, partners, contractors and authorised representatives a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to record, edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, broadcast, communicate, display, archive and otherwise use any photographs, video recordings and audio recordings in which I appear for promotional, editorial, educational, commercial, documentary, social media, broadcast, marketing and archival purposes, in any media now known or later developed, without further approval or compensation.
• All rights to the recordings are upheld by The Riser Den. The Riser Den is under no obligation to publish or use any recording.
• I acknowledge that recordings may be edited, combined with other material, shortened, adapted or otherwise modified at The Riser Den's discretion.
• I understand that I will not receive payment, royalties or any other financial compensation arising from the use of these recordings.
• I confirm that I have the legal authority to grant these permissions in relation to my performance and any material I choose to perform.
• I release The Riser Den, its organisers, volunteers, sponsors and partners from any claims arising from the lawful use of these recordings in accordance with this consent, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
• If I am under 18 years of age, I confirm that my parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these terms on my behalf.
• The personal information you provide will be used solely for administering performances, contacting you about your application and, where you have consented, keeping you informed about future Riser Den events. We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
