Understanding the State of Cyber Diligence

We know 26% of deal teams and firms have seen cyber cut a valuation within the last year. Nobody has published how it happened — who raised it, what evidence moved the number, or what the adjustment was. That's what this survey asks.
We are specifically looking to hear from PE and VC deal teams and operating partners; M&A advisors, bankers and corp dev; founders and CEOs preparing to be acquired; MSPs and fractional CISOs doing deal work; boards and insurers.
Your responses are anonymous. Responses to this survey will be collected through 15 December 2026. Aggregate findings will appear in The Diligence Gap 2027, published January 2027.
