Ode's Weekly Prompt: Steady

Thank you for taking the time to share your work.

Every Wednesday we publish a new prompt, inviting artists, writers, photographers, designers, illustrators and image-makers of all disciplines to respond within 72 hours.

Each prompt is free to enter, open to everyone, and designed to encourage making without overthinking.

This week's prompt: Steady

What keeps you grounded? A familiar place, a daily ritual, someone to lean on. Holding your balance when everything around you moves.

This week, we’re inviting your interpretations of STEADY. Send us photography, art, writing, film or anything in between.

We welcome every interpretation - literal, emotional, surreal or abstract.

Selected works will be featured on Monday across Ode's social channels. Due to the volume of submissions we're unable to notify featured artists individually, so please check our Instagram on Monday morning to see the selected works.

By submitting, you agree that your work may be featured across Ode's digital platforms with full credit.

Submission deadline: Saturday 10th October 5pm (BST) (72 hours)

Please submit 1-3 files max.

Estimated completion time: 5–10 minutes.
