Understanding Women’s Experiences of PMOS/PCOS Care and the Potential of Digital Health Support

Thank you for your interest in taking part in this research study. This study explores women’s experiences of living with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)/ Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), including diagnosis, access to care, support needs, and the potential role of digital health technologies in supporting personalised PCOS management.
This research is being conducted as part of an Master’s dissertation in Women and Children’s Health at King’s College London.
Participation involves an online survey which will take approximately 8-10 minutes. Some participants may also take part in focus group discussion, and follow-up interview, but this is optional.
This study is considered low risk. However, some questions may cause emotional discomfort or distress when reflecting on personal experiences of PMOS/PCOS or healthcare services. If participation raises any concerns or causes distress, you are encouraged to seek support from your GP.
Your participation in this study is voluntary. You may stop the survey at any time before submitting your responses.
The survey is fully anonymous. No personally identifiable information will be collected.

Participants Eligibility Criteria
To take part in this study, you must:
-Be 18-55 years old
-Have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)/Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) in primary care
- Have been managed your PMOS/PCOS in the UK
If you do not meet these criteria, please do not continue with the survey.
