What is Heidi Health?

Heidi Health is an artificial intelligence (AI) clinical documentation assistant that helps healthcare providers create accurate and comprehensive medical records.

During your consultations, Heidi Health may be used to:

- Record and transcribe our conversation
- Generate clinical notes and documentation
- Assist with administrative tasks related to your care
- Support accurate and efficient record-keeping

How Your Information is Protected

Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. Heidi Health:

- Complies with Australian privacy laws and healthcare regulations and is an Australian owned and operated business.
- Encrypts all data both in transit and at storage
- Stores personally unidentifiable information securely on Australian-based servers (or servers that meet Australian standards) As no personal information is recorded, this platform cannot share your personal information with third parties for non-clinical purposes
- Maintains strict access controls – only authorised healthcare professionals involved in your care can access your records
- Is used solely for clinical purposes to support the quality of your healthcare documentation in our patient management software.
All outputs are personally reviewed and edited by Dr Lucas for accuracy before being incorporated into your clinical file. It is the policy of this practice that all records are deleted from the Heidi platform once a record is finalised within our practice management software.

Your Consent

By signing below, you acknowledge that:

- You have read and understood this information about Heidi Health
- You have had the opportunity to ask questions about how Heidi Health is usedYou consent to the use of Heidi Health during your consultations both in person and during telehealth
- You understand that the clinical documentation generated will form part of your medical record

Your Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without providing a reason and without any impact on the quality of care you receive.

To withdraw your consent:

- Inform Dr Lucas verbally during any consultation,
- or contact our practice at reception@drpeterlucas.com or by phone on 07 3184 6704.

If you withdraw consent, Heidi Health will not be used during your future consultations, though previously generated records will remain part of your medical history as required by law.
