Project Management Bootcamp/ Work Experience Application

Project World Takeover is opening applications for our next practical Project Management Work Experience Programme. This time we will not accept everyone and will only choose members who are ready to take action.

This is not a course, and you will not simply be observing. We have found this is the most successful way to secure roles in PM as well as to build your confidence as you actually start to understand the entire project lifecycle.

Successful applicants will join a project team and gain hands-on experience supporting real projects, including the WeThaVibe Jamaica Music Retreat and Global Project Management Summit celebrating Project Management day in November (GPMS 2). Whilst also allowing leaders to get involved in our other client projects.

You may be involved in planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, governance, research, partnerships, event delivery, communications and other activities depending on your project and role. We will be rotating the roles on a monthly basis.

We are looking for people who want to learn by doing.

Places are limited. Please only apply if you can commit to meetings, complete agreed actions, communicate when challenges arise and take ownership of your contribution.

How it works: We cover theory one week and you apply to the project for the following week. This way you don't have to survive 6 months of ongoing boring theory without applying to a project.

Another issue we found is that after gaining the experience, you are unsure how to apply it to your CV, LinkedIn and interviews to secure roles - we will include this guidance as part of the project!
