Poll Watchers & Poll Greeters Needed For Midterms

We need more poll watchers and poll greeters to protect voting rights at Martin County's 28 precincts. We need volunteers for both the Primary and the General Elections.

Primary: Early Voting Days are August 8-15; Election Day is August 18.

General: Early Voting Days are October 21-31; Election Day is November 3.

1) Poll Watchers:

Closer to the elections, we will provide a Scheduling Website for volunteers to choose 3-hour shifts. You must be a registered Martin County Democrat and not be in law enforcement. We will be providing a 1 hour Zoom training video and written materials to educate you about your PW duties. (Attending the Zoom training is mandatory).

2) Poll Greeters: Poll greeters will be stationed outside the polling places to hand out flyers and notify us of any disturbance, intimidation, harassment, etc. of voters.
