23rd July - Arrival, Kachura Lakes & Game Night

Morning

Arrival in Skardu.

Musafirs will be received by the 3Musafir team and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

After the journey, the first few hours are kept relaxed so everyone can freshen up, settle in, and adjust to the mountain air.

Evening

We begin the experience with a visit to Upper Kachura and Lower Kachura.

This is the perfect first introduction to Skardu, blue water, mountain reflections, fresh air, and the feeling that the experience has properly begun.

Musafirs will have time to walk around, take photos, sit by the lake, and absorb the calm beauty of Kachura.

Night

Return to the hotel.

Dinner will be served.

After dinner, we begin with a 3Musafir Game Night — an easy, fun icebreaker to help the group connect before the adventure gets deeper.

24th July - Deosai Camping Starry Nights

Morning

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, we depart for Deosai National Park.

This is where the experience shifts from scenic travel to real adventure. The road opens into one of the highest plateaus in the world, wide skies, raw landscapes, cold winds, and endless silence.

Evening

Arrive in Deosai and spend the day exploring its wild beauty.

The experience may include:

Deosai plains, Bara Pani, Sheosar Lake, Wildlife spotting, depending on luck and timing, Photography stops. Free time to sit with the silence of the plateau

This day requires patience, flexibility, and group spirit. Weather and road conditions can change quickly in Deosai, so Musafirs are expected to move together and trust the on-ground team.

Night

Camping setup in Deosai.

Dinner will be arranged at the campsite.

Bonfire may be arranged depending on weather and national park conditions.

Overnight camping in Deosai.

This is the heart of the experience — one night away from comfort, under a sky that makes you feel small in the best way.

25th July - Khaplu Palaces, Valleys & Mountain Grace

Morning

Breakfast at the campsite.

After breakfast, we pack up and begin the journey towards Khaplu.

The drive itself is beautiful — rivers, mountain bends, villages, and landscapes that keep changing as we move deeper into Baltistan.

Evening

Arrive in Khaplu and explore its calm, royal, and historic side.

The experience may include:

Khaplu Palace, Old village surroundings, Mountain viewpoints, Local streets and valley walks, Slow photography and storytelling moments.

Khaplu brings a softer energy after Deosai. It feels less wild and more graceful — a place of history, quiet architecture, and mountain dignity.

Night

Dinner will be served.

Musafirs will have time to rest, recover, and enjoy a slower night after the camping experience.

26th July - Sarfaranga Desert & Bazm Night

Morning

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, we depart for Sarfaranga Cold Desert.

This day brings a completely different mood to the experience, sand dunes, mountain backdrops, open space, and the strange beauty of a desert sitting among snow-covered peaks.

Evening

Spend time exploring Sarfaranga.

The experience may include:

Cold desert walk, Dune photography, Group activities, Optional adventure activities, depending on availability, Sunset experience in the desert.

This is one of the most visual days of the experience. It is built for movement, content, group energy, and that surreal Skardu feeling where desert and mountains exist in the same frame.

Night

Return for dinner.

After dinner, we gather for Bazm Night — a 3Musafir-style evening of music, stories, poetry, reflection, laughter, and shared memories from the experience.

This is the emotional closing night.

The adventure slows down, the group comes together, and the experience starts becoming a story.

27th July - Farewell & Return

Morning

Breakfast at the hotel.

Musafirs will pack up, check out, and prepare for the return journey.

Depending on flight/road timings, there may be a short final stop or free time for last-minute shopping and photos.

Evening

Return journey begins.

The 3Musafir team will assist with departures..

Night

Experience concludes.

Skardu SummerFest ends here, but the memories stay in the group chats, camera rolls, inside jokes, and the quiet confidence that comes after doing something a little outside your comfort zone.
