Your Writing Pathway | October 2026 to March 2027
Take the story stirring within you from possibility to page — and, if you choose, toward publication.
Whether you are carrying the first spark of an idea, shaping a memoir or legacy story, sharing your professional expertise, or already working with a manuscript, you are welcome here. You do not need to be an experienced writer. You only need a story you are ready to bring to the page.
The Art of Storytelling Writers Circle is an intimate, six-month guided writing community for writers at every stage, from first idea to manuscript in progress.
Across twelve 90-minute gatherings, we will explore and practise the craft of writing and storytelling, find and strengthen your voice, shape the heart and structure of your story, write together, share our work, exchange thoughtful feedback, ask questions, and support one another as ideas become words and words become a body of work. You will also receive one private 33-minute writing and coaching conversation with Jennifer each month, arranged individually.

When we gather
6:30 to 8 p.m. Eastern
Second Wednesdays: Live on Zoom. A private link will be provided to registered members.
Fourth Wednesdays: Our Thunder Bay creative crew gathers in person at Bodymind Centre, 8-105 Villa Street, joined live by Jennifer and our online writers via Zoom.
2026: October 14 and 28 · November 11 and 25 · December 9 and 16*
2027: January 13 and 27 · February 10 and 24 · March 10 and 24
*December 16 replaces the fourth-Wednesday gathering to honour the Christmas season.
Investment and commitment
The investment is $150 CAD per month for six months, for a total of $900. A $150 non-refundable deposit secures your place and is applied to your final month's payment. Your October payment is due separately at the beginning of the program. Payment may be made monthly by e-transfer or through automatic credit-card payments using Stripe.
By joining, you are committing to the full six-month Writers Circle. The group will be intentionally kept small so each writer can be known, supported and actively involved.
