As part of the European
Science Comes to Town project, Brest, Kiel, and Split are conducting together an inventory and evaluation of citizen science projects in their regions in 2026.
This analysis of citizen science projects aims to achieve the following in the three project areas, Brest, Kiel, and Split:
1) Develop an inventory and assessment of citizen science projects in Brest, Kiel, and Split;
2) Communicate and propose events to promote the projects identified, representing opportunities for citizens to engage in this type of activity;
3) Identify citizen science projects that can be replicated between the three European partner cities;
4) Explore the scaling up of replicable projects or the development of a joint project between the three cities.
Please respond to this call for contributions by January 31, 2026.
