We launched Terre à Terre a few years ago with a very simple idea: to plant trees together as a community and celebrate with music. This autumn, we are organizing a unique 3-day gathering from September 18th to 20th, 2026.

If you receive this form, it means we're thinking of you and you might want to experience this moment with us.

The place and what makes it precious

We will be received at the Echo of the Valley Farm, an organic garlic farm run by Arnaud and his family, two hours from Montreal. There's a stream, a pond, a barn, and a wooded area. The field where we'll be planting has long been used as pasture; they're replanting trees there.

Arnaud and his family have made a rare choice: they are taking steps to place their land in a conservation trust.
A trust is a legal tool that permanently protects a property. In practical terms, the land no longer belongs to someone who could one day sell or develop it.

Why does this matter so much to us? Because planting trees is only worthwhile if the forest is allowed to age. Elsewhere, a planted forest can be clear-cut ten or thirty years later. Here, that will never happen. What we plant over the weekend will last for centuries.

What to expect

Three days of camping with the following program:

🌱 A planting workshop
⛺ On-site camping near a stream
🔥 Campfires, shared meals, cacao
🎶 Musical programming from the Saisons Musique family - Friday evening to Sunday
It's participatory: everyone contributes in their own way.

Good to know

🎟️ Tickets are very limited, early birds at $130 and standard at $160. Ticket sales are only used to cover the costs of the weekend.

Please note that due to a small capacity, not everyone will receive a link for tickets this year.

🍲 Saturday dinner and cacao are included.

What is the purpose of this form?

It’s important to us that everyone present at this special ‘edition zero’ of the Terre à Terre festival is on the same page and committed to making it a meaningful and memorable weekend. This form invites you to express your interest and share a bit about your connection to the event. The invitation is personal, so please don't share it without contacting us first.
