The Entrepreneurial Business Academy (EBA) is a 4-year pathway at Thomas Worthington High School that develops tomorrow's business leaders. By senior year, EBA students have completed coursework in keyboarding and advanced computer applications, personal finance, introduction to business, accounting, social media marketing and sales, and exploring entrepreneurship — building a well-rounded foundation in finance, marketing, operations, and workplace technology.
The Senior Business Internship is the capstone of that pathway. Instead of sitting in a classroom, students are placed in a real business setting where they can apply what they've learned and contribute as a genuine resource to your team.
Students commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week for the class, so please keep that time commitment in mind as you think through the tasks and projects below. Internships are flexible on days, times, and setting (on-site, remote, or hybrid), and mentors are asked to complete a short evaluation at the end of the semester that factors into the student's final grade.
