The summer solstice is the longest day of the year — the sun at its fullest, the light at its most generous. There's something quietly remarkable about that. About pausing inside abundance instead of rushing past it.This morning in Cubbon Park is an invitation to do exactly that. To step outside with no agenda other than to make, move, and be. To let the trees and the light do some of the work. To move with the winds and trees, to meet strangers and leave with friends, to experience creativity as sheer joy and play.
🌟 What to expect?
A gentle movement practice with the park as your guide. Expressive art-making with pastels and watercolours. A short writing drop — to find words for what moves within you. A closing circle to witness and be witnessed.
🤝This gathering is for you if
- You want a meaningful way to spend a Sunday morning outside.
- You're curious about expressive arts but don't consider yourself "an artist"
- You want to mark the solstice with intention, not just let it pass.
- You're open to something a little different — and a little beautiful.
Hosted by SG Aishwarya, trauma-informed expressive arts therapist and founder of Universes Within. This gathering is offered in the spirit of gift culture. Please contribute based on your capacity and generosity to support this work.
Few things to note: All materials will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes. Just bring water, something to sit on & an open heart. Thats all! See you sundaay! :D
