Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Terms & Conditions

By applying to become a Recognised Parent Baby Spaces Practitioner, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Parent Baby Spaces and applicants for Recognition and should be read alongside the Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Standards.
Recognition

Recognition is awarded for a period of one year and is subject to the Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Standards, Annual Reflection and Renewal process, and these Terms & Conditions.

Professional Responsibilities

You confirm that the information provided within your application is accurate and complete and that you will maintain the Professional Foundations required for Recognition throughout your membership.

You agree to notify Parent Baby Spaces if any significant changes occur that may affect your Recognition, including changes to your qualifications, insurance, safeguarding, first aid or professional circumstances.

Recognition Fees

Recognition fees are payable annually or by monthly subscription, depending on the payment option selected.

Recognition is awarded for a period of one year. To maintain Recognition beyond this period, practitioners must successfully complete the Annual Reflection and Renewal process and pay the applicable renewal fee.

Where a monthly payment option is selected, all scheduled payments for the annual Recognition period must be completed. Failure to maintain payments may result in Recognition being suspended or withdrawn.

Recognition fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Data Protection
Parent Baby Spaces will process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. Information provided as part of your application will be used to administer your Recognition and, where consent has been given, to maintain your directory listing and communicate with you about your membership.
Misrepresentation
Practitioners must not misrepresent their Recognition status or imply endorsement beyond that described within the Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Standards. Deliberate misuse of the Recognition Mark or false representation of Recognition status may result in immediate suspension or withdrawal of Recognition.
Recognition Mark

The Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Mark, badge, logos, Framework and Recognition Standards remain the intellectual property of Parent Baby Spaces.

Recognised practitioners are granted a non-transferable licence to use the Recognition Mark and describe themselves as a Recognised Parent Baby Spaces Practitioner only whilst their Recognition remains current.

If Recognition expires, is suspended or withdrawn, you agree to remove the Recognition Mark and any reference to your recognised status from your website, social media, printed materials and promotional content within 14 days.

Directory Listing

By becoming recognised, you consent to Parent Baby Spaces displaying your professional profile within the Parent Baby Spaces directory on the website. You may request updates or removal of your directory listing at any time.

Recognition Status

Recognition demonstrates your commitment to the Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Standards and ongoing professional development. It is not an accreditation, guarantee, endorsement or certification of the quality or outcomes of your services. You remain solely responsible for your professional practice and the services you provide.

Suspension or Removal

Parent Baby Spaces reserves the right to suspend or withdraw Recognition where these Terms & Conditions or the Recognition Standards are no longer met, or where continued Recognition would be inconsistent with the integrity, reputation or values of Parent Baby Spaces. Wherever appropriate, concerns will be managed fairly and practitioners will be given the opportunity to respond before a decision is made.

Updates

Parent Baby Spaces may update the Recognition Standards, membership benefits and these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current versions will always be made available through Parent Baby Spaces and will apply from the date of publication.

Acceptance

By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the Parent Baby Spaces Recognition Standards and these Terms & Conditions.
