Anytown Youth Council

The Anytown Youth Council (AYC) is a working youth board of up to 15 Anytown graduates who support the Anytown program by providing strategic direction to Anytown and facilitating youth led initiatives!

Expectations
- Embody Anytown’s mission, vision and values
- Commit to a minimum of 2 to 5 service hours per month

This includes strengthening the program by:
- Attending monthly meetings
- Helping to recruit delegates for camp
- Planning events and activities for Anytown alumni
- Representing Anytown at community events

Benefits
- Members graduate from the program with an increase in community involvement, cultural competency, life skills, positive core values and sense of self
- Members will learn more about diversity, equity, and inclusion, facilitate meetings, develop initiatives for Anytown Leadership Camp, learn marketing strategies and develop ideas for future programming
- Members will receive leadership/ service hours
