Effective Altruism tries to answer the question "what is the best thing I can do for others, given my limited time and resources?" Some ways of helping are 100 (yes, one hundred) times better than others, so it makes sense to look very hard to find those opportunities.
The goal of this introductory program to sharpen your thinking on what the world's most urgent problems are, to give you tools for discerning effective from ineffective approaches to working on these problems, and to give you resources to actually do that work. To make it more hands-on, you'll also get to direct 100kr of donations at the end of the program to wherever you judge it will do the most good!
To get the most out of this program, you should be:
- Curious about opportunities to improve the world with your career and/or donations
- Open-minded and flexible, eager to update your beliefs in response to strong evidence
- Willing and able to commit ~2-3 hours per week for the program's duration
General info:

- Start: third week of February (starting 16th)
