Customer-Supplied Item Engraving Waiver — Lasersedge Wales
By submitting your own item(s) for laser engraving, you agree to the following:
Risk acknowledgement — Laser engraving on customer-supplied items carries inherent risk. Materials, coatings, plating, and hidden defects can react unpredictably. Results cannot be guaranteed.
No liability for damage — Lasersedge Wales will take all reasonable care, but cannot accept responsibility for damage, discolouration, cracking, warping, or loss of value to items supplied by the customer.
Irreplaceable / sentimental items — Items of sentimental or irreplaceable value are engraved entirely at your own risk; no compensation beyond the engraving fee will be offered.
Item condition & authenticity — I confirm I own the item(s) or have permission to have them engraved.
Approval of details — I confirm all engraving text, spelling, logos, and placement are correct as approved before work begins.
Test engraving — Where possible, a test may be carried out on a discreet area. This is not always possible.
Fabrics & materials — Fabrics, leather, textiles, and coated or treated materials can scorch, discolour, melt, fray, or react unpredictably. Colour and finish results cannot be guaranteed, and Lasersedge Wales accepts no liability for damage to customer-supplied materials.
Watches & timepieces — Engraving on watches (case backs, straps, or faces) carries risk to the mechanism, water resistance, plating, and glass. The watch must be suitably prepared, and engraving is carried out entirely at your own risk. Engraving may void water resistance and any manufacturer warranty. Lasersedge Wales accepts no liability for loss of water resistance, damage to the mechanism, or reduction in the item's value.
