We are developing the future of tampons, guided by microbiome science and created to support the vaginal environment during menstruation, when the body is most vulnerable to disruption.
We are at an exciting point in our journey and we want to invite you along as early supporters of the first menstrual products designed for proactive vaginal health and wellness.
We have been awarded over £250,000 in grant funding for our research and development and our founder, Lucy Hope, was awarded the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award 2025 and Business Insider's 42 under 42.
Our purpose is to transform menstrual products into proactive healthcare - empowering women to take control of their vaginal and gynaecological health at scale. Women deserve better than reactive care and silent suffering. We exist to transform everyday menstrual products into tools of prevention, power and health.
In a world where 1 in 3 women suffer needlessly from bacterial vaginosis, we envision moving tampons out of the ‘sanitary’ aisle and into frontline medical grade healthtech that prevents infection, reduces downstream disease burden and eliminates suffering through a product millions of women already use on a monthly basis.
If you are interested in investing in the future of The Daughters of Mars and the future of menstrual care then please fill out the form below and we can answer any further questions you have directly. This is only an expression of interest and does not bind you in any way.
We are looking to raise £500,000 to complete our Medical Device standard Safety & Biocompatibility testing (ISO 10993), produce our first scaled ISO 13485 Medical Device compliant manufacturing run and complete a Phase 1 Feasibility RCT (Randomised Controlled Trial) led by Dr Phillip Hay, clinician and global expert in Bacterial Vaginosis.

To make a profit on your investment, you will generally need to sell your shares for more than the amount you invested. In a best case scenario, the value of your shares will rise in line with the growth of the business you invested in and you will be able to sell your shares when the business floats on a stock exchange or is bought by another company (i.e. an exit event).
