This course is for coaches, therapists, or bodyworkers who would like to integrate a body-oriented, trauma-sensitive approach into their work. The focus is as much on who and how we are when we accompany clients, as on concrete tools, methods and skills that can be immediately integrated into sessions.

The main questions we explore are

• How can I support my clients in deepening the connection to themselves and accessing inner resources and support them in living a life that is more connected, fulfilling and no longer dictated by our past traumas.

• How can I hold space for and accompany my clients without working hard, expending effort and tiring myself?

The focus of the course is on learning by doing. The practical exercises are accompanied by theoretical inputs and models, focusing on developmental trauma and its effects in adult life. In addition to learning, participants are welcome to bring their own processes into the group as they arise.

In line with the body-oriented orientation of the course, we regularly take time to arrive in our own bodies, to breathe, to move, to dance.

The course content is inspired by and draws from NARM (Neuro-Affective Relationship Model), IBP (Integrative Body Psychotherapy), Bioenergetics, and other somatic approaches.
