My name is Juwan Dippenaar, founder and executive director of Reidar (Pty) Ltd. Or as some know it, South Africa’s top pioneering agri-tech startup.

My aim here is to get to know you.

Not necessarily your past job titles, exam grades or anything too formal or almost-bureaucratic.

But rather who you are.

Where you come from.

What you’re made of.

What you care about.

And what you can do about it…

The Core Team is what I am forming here at Reidar. Their sole responsibility is taking full ownership and initiative regarding our mission: transforming agri-trade in South Africa for the better.

Not slightly better,

not 2 times better,

but 10 times better ✅ .

The core team will later also enjoy building out the wider Reidar team. Yes, that’s right. If selected as a Core Team member, you’ll have the opportunity to build out your own team, within Reidar.

Who you need to be

No matter the technical aspects of the skills you may need to contribute, all Core Team members need to have a few key traits:

*Drive to contribute meaningfully

*Bias towards execution over planning

*Initiative in times of uncertainty

*Passion for making impact

*Setting your own rythm (no formal corporate structure guiding you)

*You are not a robot
