Rules and Expectations

Tuition Rates:
• $25/month per student (50-minute class)
• $15/month per student (30-minute class)

Tuition is due by the 10th of each month. A $5 late fee will be added for payments received after that date.

We accept cash, check, and Venmo (@LittleLeapfrogs5678). Please contact us to arrange credit card payments.

Absences and Cancellations:

Dancers are expected to attend all classes unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor.

Tuition is not refunded or prorated for missed classes or holiday months. If your child will be absent or late, please notify the instructor by text, call, or email as soon as possible.

A 30-day notice is required to withdraw from classes. If 30 days' notice cannot be given, tuition for the following 30 days will be charged on a prorated basis.

Shoes and Attire:

There is no required dress code however, comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows free movement is best.

Ballet slippers or jazz shoes are recommended, though any non-slip soft-soled shoe that fits securely will work. Please do not send children in ballet-style dress shoes, as they are often slippery and may come off during class.

Shoes are the safest option, though socks may be allowed in some classes. Bare feet are permitted only in certain classes. Please check with your instructor before sending your child without shoes or socks, as dancers may be asked to sit out if footwear does not meet class requirements.

Food, Drinks, and Bathroom Breaks:

Water bottles are welcome; sinks are available for refills. Please do not bring food, gum, or drinks other than water.

We recommend dancers use the restroom before class to minimize disruptions. Bathrooms are available if needed; however, instructors cannot leave class to assist children. If your dancer requires help in the restroom or with clothing, a parent, guardian, or trusted adult must be available at The Johnson Center to assist them.

Dancers should return directly to class after using the restroom and may not wander through other areas of the building.

Parent Observation:

•Seating in the dance classroom is very limited, so parents who stay during class are asked to wait upstairs. •In special circumstances, a parent may be allowed in the classroom with prior approval from the instructor. •A screen showing your dancer's classroom is available in the office waiting area.

Expectations:

Dancers should arrive on time and have transportation arranged for pick-up. If a ride is delayed, dancers must wait in the upstairs office area and may not play in other areas of The Johnson Center or go outside without an adult.

Dancers are expected to follow directions, show respect to instructors and staff, and treat fellow dancers with kindness. Misbehavior may result in being asked to sit out of class.

To help dancers learn proper technique, instructors may occasionally use physical guidance to correct positioning. If a dancer or parent has any concerns about this, please contact us right away.
