Share your story with The Utero Project.

Thank you for trusting us with your story. The Utero Project is a community-led platform where people share their real experiences with reproductive and sexual healthcare — from doctor's visits and diagnoses to questions, frustrations, and stories of healing.

Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where anyone who has interacted with reproductive care can speak openly, learn from others, and, ultimately, feel less alone. Over time, we hope to expand this space to include educational events and conversations as well as ways for people with shared experiences to connect directly.
Every story helps build understanding, empathy, and change – within our healthcare system and beyond. You can share anonymously and include as much or as little detail as you'd like.

Your story may be featured (with consent) on our social media or future website to help others feel seen, informed, and less alone.

Take your time and answer what feels comfortable.

Share what's on your mind. We're here to listen.

Below are some prompting questions to help get the words flowing. Feel free to answer them directly, but by no means do you have to. Share whatever feels right!
Describe a time you felt seen or unseen by a doctor or provider.
What’s a reproductive or sexual health question you’ve always had?
Is there a symptom or concern you weren’t sure was normal? Share what happened when you asked about it.
How does your condition or symptoms affect your daily life?
Describe a routine, habit, or practice that’s helped you understand your body better.
Tell us about your experience with a reproductive or hormonal condition (e.g., PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, fibroids, infertility, etc.).
Share an experience you had with pain, discomfort, or changes in your body.
Have you ever dealt with a recurring issue (pain, bleeding, discharge)? Tell us what that was like.

We would like to share your story on our Instagram and eventually our website. Is there anything that you'd like us to include/exclude in order to preserve anonymity in your post?

Unless you specify otherwise, we will automatically assume that you want your post to remain anonymous and we will NOT attach your name or information to it in any way. If you ever want your story removed, you can always email us at intheuteroproject@gmail.com.
