Expression of Interest for Funding Support
The Huntsville Municipal Accommodation Tax Association (HMATA) receives a portion of the Municipal Accommodation Tax collected by local accommodations. Our provincially legislated mandate is promotion and development of tourism in Huntsville.
Do you have a tourism-related project that needs funding support to help it succeed? HMATA wants to hear about it! We welcome projects that align with our strategic priorities, and may be able to offer some funding support for eligible projects.
If your project is sport-related and occurs before May 31, 2027, please review criteria for the Winter Games Legacy Fund

If your project:
*Is located within Huntsville's municipal boundaries
*Occurs in the shoulder seasons or winter (from late October through April) or has consistent year-round tourism appeal (i.e. people will still want to do it in the winter)
*Has potential to draw overnight visitors to Huntsville
*And has a well-considered implementation plan and budget already in place
