VAT is the sales tax you charge on your service. It is called BTW in the Netherlands, moms in Denmark, MwSt in Germany, TVA in France and Belgium.
If you are registered, part of the price above is tax that you pass on to your own tax authority, so it is not income for you. If you are not registered, or you are below the registration threshold in your country, choose No.

WildRoots commission comes out of that amount: 10 percent for Sleep Outside (overnight stays), 15 percent for Treks, Expeditions and Skills.
You receive is what is paid out to you after our commission.
VAT is the tax already contained in the guest price, which you pass on to your own tax authority. It is not income for you. If you are not registered for VAT, this line stays at zero.
Your net income is what is genuinely left for you.
