April 8th | Workshop Agenda

Learn more about Tailwhip Comedy:
If you'd like to join us, we'll be workshopping at Chasing Shadows from 7-9 PM on April 8th, 2026. Located at:
2444 NE 1st Blvd Suite 800 Gainesville, FL 32609
This is a low-pressure comedy writing workshop for all experience levels. We're discussing material, refining jokes, and discussing how to connect to audiences in today's climate, no matter what market you're performing in. Workshopping with Tailwhip isn't about teaching you Comedy 101. It's about writers and performers collaborating to develop sets that are true to your comedic voice. We care about helping you find a way to effectively deliver your material on stage. Below you'll find the topic of the month and you can tell us what you're working on! Your answers below will remain anonymous unless you want to claim yours during the discussion at the workshop.

This month's workshop topic is:
What makes comedy "Unfunny"?
Here's a screenshot from the audience poll taken at the beginning of Tailwhip's Joke Gym on 3/19 at Vecino's in Downtown Gainesville. Review it and we'll discuss the results.
