biniyog.io is hiring for the position of Business Operations Trainee with a passion to bring a positive change in society. This is a
full-time role.
Who we are:
biniyog.io is the first Shariah-certified alternative financial platform in Bangladesh that connects SMEs to regular people for collateral-free financing.
We are backed by reputed startup investors like Accelerating Asia and Sabr Capital.
In the past 4 years, we have processed BDT 130 crore+ in Shariah-based financing through the platform. We’re now building the AI-powered financial backbone that will help underserved SMEs access capital and make smarter business decisions.
This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage – shaping the core foundation that will make halal finance mainstream for millions of people.
Major Tasks:
- Communicating with businesses, merchants, and agents for day to day operations
- Help in preparing financial and shariah compliance documents and reports for the team
- Help in assessing potential businesses for financing
- Work with different teams as necessary

What we need:
- Inclination towards Islamic finance
- Practical idea about how small businesses work in Bangladesh
- Good communication skills, ability to express ideas clearly to stakeholders
- Open to
commuting to different parts of Dhaka as necessary
- Good analytical ability to assess new businesses for financing opportunity
- Taking ownership of your work – we are a small team and focused on a results-driven culture of trust
Benefits:
- Remuneration: BDT 15,000
- Office lunch and snacks
- Up to 2 days work-from-home per week (after initial training period)

The training period will be 3 months long, with a potential of becoming a permanent team member. Remuneration will be revised based on performance.
