JamJam is a video e-commerce and live shopping app with scam protection.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of local and digital marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and vendor sign-ups for JamJam in key African markets.
Assist in creating engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials tailored to our audience of shoppers and sellers.
Conduct market research and analyze campaign performance data to provide insights that help optimize marketing strategies and outreach.
Collaborate with the City Launcher/Country Manager and ambassador teams to coordinate on-the-ground events, partnerships, and community activation efforts.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with creativity and an eye for compelling storytelling.
Basic understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter), and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, startup environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Bonus: Previous internship experience, campus ambassador involvement, or personal projects demonstrating marketing initiative.

Compensation

Monthly Stipend: $100 - $250 USD per month
