UFOLD - consent & waiver

Section 1: Community agreements

I will ask for a verbal, visual or body language driven consent before initiating contact with another dancer and will respect all answers, including "not right now."
No means no — and so does hesitation. I understand that a pause, silence, or uncertain body language is a "no" until clearly expressed otherwise.
Consent is ongoing. I understand that agreeing to dance with someone is not consent for any specific move or contact, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Respect the space. I will not pressure anyone to dance, and I will not retaliate against anyone who declines or ends a dance.
Speak up or report. If I witness or experience behavior that violates these agreements, I will speak to an organizer or host. If I witness or experience a boundary violation, I'll speak to the host

Section 2: Liability

You are voluntarily participating in physical activity. You release the event organizers from liability for injury except in cases of gross negligence. You confirm you will not attend while impaired, and understand that violating the consent agreements may result in removal.
