TRACES of a Dress is a project by Tatreez Collective, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, documenting Palestinian textiles held by Palestinians in the UK.
We are looking for people who have old or historic textiles that came from Palestine — such as thobes, embroidered panels, head coverings, household textiles, fabric pieces, or other textile objects.
Through this project, we hope to record the stories of these pieces, photograph them professionally, and preserve their embroidery patterns in a public digital archive for future generations.
Completing this form does not mean you are committing to anything. It simply helps us understand what textiles are held within the community and whether you may be open to being contacted by our team.
If selected for the next stage, you may be invited to take part in an interview and documentation visit. Interviews can be conducted in English or Arabic. Separate consent will always be requested before any interview, recording, photography, publication, or exhibition use.
Optional, but helpful if you are happy for us to contact you by phone or WhatsApp.
City/town is enough at this stage.
