Thank you for your interest in mentoring the next generation of innovators at NASA Space Apps Challenge Bern 2026 (Nov 14–15, 2026)!
🚩 Please note that all mentor positions are on a voluntary basis, and we are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation, or personal expenses. We deeply appreciate your generous contribution of time, expertise, and mentorship to our community.
🚩 Role Distinction & Scope: Mentors serve strictly as advisors and cannot compete, join hackathon teams as competing members, or submit projects. However, you can mentor one or more teams during the hackathon and guide participants through their team-up process.
🚩 Experience: Prior hackathon or mentorship experience is an advantage, but not required. Domain expertise, industry knowledge, and enthusiasm to guide teams are what matter most!
🚩 No NASA Portal Registration Required: Mentors should not register on the main NASA Space Apps participant portal. Filing this application form is sufficient.
🚩 Want to Compete as a Hacker Instead? If you prefer to form/join a team and compete, please do not fill out this form. Instead, register via our Official NASA Space Apps Challenge Registration Page and join our WhatsApp Community.
